100(ish) Things That Made My Year | 2024
At the end of the year, it’s tempting to focus on the bad things that happened and declare it “a rough year.” But, I’ve done this list three years running now, and every year it makes me realize how many good things happened. And usually, the good outweighs the bad. And this year, I feel so lucky that I couldn’t narrow it down to just 100.
So without further ado, here’s my list of 100(ish) things that made my year in 2024.

A sound bath at Grace Cathedral with my mom & Sepi.

Long walks through Cobble Hill on Sunday mornings.
Taylor Swift Sunday at SoulCycle with my guy Jack Bauer.

The first real snow of 2024 in NYC.

37. The first sightings of peonies at the bodegas in Brooklyn.
38. Dinner at Bricolage with John, Brad, and Jules.

46. A day at Ephesus in Turkey.
47. Visiting a rug factory in Turkey and helping our mom choose inventory.
48. Seeing the caves in Cappadocia, Turkey. Even though the hot air balloons were cancelled.
49. A day in Istanbul roaming the Grand Bazaar, and my brother getting a “mustache discount” on his rug.
50. 36 hours in Stockholm: the ABBA Museum, Swedish candy stores, and flowers everywhere.
51. But most memorably, The Eras Tour in Stockholm ✨
52. Days roaming the flea markets in France with my mom, Aunt Lisa, Katie, Anna, and the French team.
53. The cutest little pink cafe at a flea market in France.
54. 48 hours in Nice, France.
55. This is absolutely not a highlight, but I would be remiss to not mention that I got trapped in an elevator in Monaco and had to be rescued by French firefighters. Oh, and Ubers don’t exist in Monaco, so I had to hike to the border to get back to France. At least it’s a good story.

59. My childhood bestie Shannon moved in with me in NYC in June and it was one of the best things that happened to me all year. Every night is like a sleepover.
60. Dogsitting my boy Melvin. He is the neediest dog I’ve ever met, and I love him so much.
61. A weekend in Tucson with the whole family to surprise my Grandpa for his 80th birthday.
62. My Aunt Lisa teaching me how to embroider. It is my new favorite hobby.
63. A night at Nicki’s watching the finale of Bridgerton with the girls.
64. Dinner and ice cream in the park for Ava’s birthday.
65. A day at the beach for Madeline’s birthday.
66. Thai food and Aperol Spritzes on the roof of Sultana and Becca’s apartment.
67. My tiny handheld fan. I would not survive NYC summers without her.
68. My friend Anora staying with me for a weekend in NYC.

79. Taking myself to see Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS Tour alone in Seattle.
80. My high school friends coming to the Beach for our annual trip. It was so fun to show my favorite people my favorite place.
81. Celebrating my birthday with my high school friends and my dad at the beach. And waking up to Julia’s Taylor Swift-themed decorations was everything.
82. A visit from an old Australian friend.
83. Celebrating my birthday on the lobster boat with so many of my favorite people.
84. Several nights with Taylor watching High School Musical.
85. The loveliest trip to Michigan with Chumbo.
86. Rescuing our sweet little feline friend Simon from the forests of Lake Michigan, and becoming an auntie to one of the only cats I actually like.
87. A cozy night in a tent in Taylor’s empty living room, so sad she’s leaving NYC, but so proud of her for pursuing new adventures.
88. The last Coney Island fireworks of the year and a spin on the Wonder Wheel to celebrate Julia’s 30th.
89. A weekend in Asbury Park to celebrate the end of summer.
90. Our last sail on the Lobster Boat in matching Brat shirts for Julia’s birthday.
91. One last summer beach day with Shannon at Coney Island.

99. Seeing Gracie Abrams at Radio City with Shannon, Katie, and Nicki.
100. A week in NYC doing pretty much nothing but eat with my family. But most excitingly, seeing Paul Mescal at Via Carota with my sister.
101. Two nights at The Plaza with my mom and my sister.
103. Seeing the Northern Lights for the first time ever!
104. Four perfect days on Martha’s Vineyard with my friend Megan.
105. Seeing Stanley Tucci & John Krasinski at the Theatre at MSG.
106. Seeing Billie Eilish at MSG with Shannon. We’re starting to receive mail there.
107. A day upstate at Storm King with Chumbo.
108. One of my favorite days of the year watching the NYC Marathon & Rockefeller Center with Shannon.
109. My big sister Kelsey & auntie Jackie got married this year!
110. My friend Maddy gave birth to her sweet baby boy, Callum. He is perfect.
111. A weekend in NYC for my sister’s 21st birthday with my cousins, aunt, and mom. And Kacey Musgraves.
112. Hosting my 3rd annual Friendsgiving at our apartment with Shannon.
113. Zucksgiving with Jules and her family.
114. Going to Target on Black Friday for The Eras Tour Book and The Anthology on vinyl with my Swift City group chat.
115. A cozy day Christmas crafting at Rob & Julia’s apartment.
116. Decking the halls of my apartment with my teeny tiny Christmas tree.
117. Going to closing night of The Eras Tour in Vancouver. She played both of my surprise songs from LA again, and I will quite literally never forget it. Long live all the magic we made ✨
