Paris
Ah, Paris.
Next to New York City, Paris is my favorite city in the world. It has a magic that nowhere else on Earth does, and each season is somehow more beautiful than the last. As the TikTokers say, Paris is a city where you can “romanticize” your life and every detail captures your attention. Streetlamps reflect off of cobblestones, street performers’ voices bounce off the Seine, and you can always see the Eiffel Tower twinkling out of the corner of your eye.
In 2019, I spent a year living in Lyon, France pre-pandemic. I really immersed myself in the French culture and language, made some lifelong friends, and was able to see a lot of the country. While I think Lyon is the most livable (and underrated) city in France, nothing quite measures up to Paris. Every time I visit there is something new to do, eat, or see, and it keeps me wanting more.
Just for my Furbs on Film readers, I’ve rounded up a list of all my Paris favorites, and the spots I’ve been adding to my list for my next visit (in May)!
